Bargaining between MUNFA and the MUN administration ended early last Thursday afternoon, with the Parties very close to a deal. It was a week when events moved very quickly towards a new collective agreement, covering many important items. These include Intellectual Property (Article 27), gender-based salary inequities, pay and conditions for contractually academic staff, and the University’s proposal for Post-Tenure Review.
Given the number and significance of the issues covered in short order, the MUNFA Executive and Negotiating Committees feel it is critical to discuss the final package discussed by the Parties before moving further in the process. We are holding two Town Hall Information meetings.
