MUNFA would like to inform academic staff members that we are doing our best to keep apprised of the quickly changing situation surrounding COVID-19. At this time we encourage you to direct any questions you have regarding the University’s recent updates to your Department Head or Dean, or to coronavirus@mun.ca. Please also review Memorial University’s COVID-19 Information Hub: https://www.mun.ca/covid19/. As we become aware of additional information or decisions related to course delivery, research, and continued operations of our campuses we will do our best to provide updates.
We are also advocating for MUNFA’s inclusion in deliberations and planning concerning MUN’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, given that any significant changes to university operations are likely to have implications for members’ working conditions.
