As the result of the resignation of the Past President of the MUNFA Executive 2015-2016, one Member-at-Large position is currently vacant. In accordance with the MUNFA Constitution (http://www.mun.ca/munfa/Constitution.Oct%202015.pdf [1]), if there is no member available or willing to be nominated from the previous Executive Committee of the Association, a further member-at-large shall be elected, except that this further member shall be a person who has been a member of any previous MUNFA Executive Committee. This is a first call for nominations to fill this position. If you have served on a previous Executive Committee and wish to volunteer, please complete a nominating form [2].
An official nominating form is enclosed. Each nomination must be accompanied by (1) the signature of the nominee (indicating his or her willingness to serve), and (2) the signatures of a proposer and seconder. All must be members of MUNFA. Each candidate has the option of submitting to the Committee a statement of not more than 150 words which shall be circulated to the membership.
