RATIFICATION VOTE – July 15, 2003

A ratification vote under Article XIV of the MUNFA Constitution requires a secret/ballot box vote. Balloting will take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM at the following locations:

MEDICAL SCHOOL EARTH SCIENCES Q.E. II LIBRARY
 

SIR WILFRED GRENFELL COLLEGE
Where you vote is determined by the building in or near which your department is largely located. Lists of all eligible Bargaining Unit Members will be present at each ballot location.

Medical School Constituency: i.e. Members in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Librarians at the Health Sciences Library vote in the foyer of the Medical School.

Earth Sciences Building Constituency: i.e. Members in Business, Computer Science, Chemistry and Physics, Dean of Science Office, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Marine Institute, Ocean Sciences and Social Work in the 4th floor foyer.

Q.E. II Library Constituency: : i.e. Members in Anthropology, Dean of Arts Office, Biochemistry, Biology, Classics, Counselling Centre, Continuing Studies, Economics, Education, English, Folklore, French & Spanish, Geography, German & Russian, History, Human Kinetics, Library (except for the Health Sciences Library and Sir Wilfred Grenfell College), Linguistics, Mathematics & Statistics, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies and Sociology, in the foyer of the Q.E. II Library.

Sir Wilfred Grenfell Constituency: Members will vote at a site to be arranged on the College campus.

You may vote only once, and preferably at the constituency polling station to which you have been assigned. Bargaining Unit members voting at a poll outside their constituency or who otherwise do not appear on the MUNFA Bargaining Unit list shall be allowed to vote, but their ballots shall be sequestered and verified later before being counted. YOU WILL NEED YOUR EMPLOYEE ID NUMBER OR A PHOTO ID IN ORDER TO VOTE. The employee number can be found on your pay stub/notice of deposit slip.

Counting of the ballots will take place in ER4049 after the ballots from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College are received.
