SUBJECT: Academic Freedom Sessions
On March 6th, 2024, members of the MUNFA St. John’s Academic Freedom & Grievance Committee (SJ AF&G) hosted a virtual session with Academic Staff Members (ASMs) in the Faculty of Nursing. The Co-Chairs of the SJ AF&G Committee discussed Academic Freedom rights and other Collective Agreement matters.
The session was well-received, and the MUNFA Executive would like to extend the opportunity to ASMs across the University. ASMs interested in such a session for their unit regarding Academic Freedom rights and the Collective Agreement are invited to contact labourmunfa@mun.ca.
