Academic Misconduct and Supports for Remote Learning

MUNFA has seen recent reports of an increase in academic misconduct amongst students, largely attributed to remote learning. While we recognize the need to ensure academic integrity, we understand that remote learning has presented many challenges for Academic Staff Members (ASMs) and students alike. We would therefore like to hear from ASMs on any such challenges and in particular, we are curious if there are additional supports that the University could put in place to ensure ASMs and students are better equipped to teaching and learning in a remote setting. Alternatively, we would also welcome comments from ASMs who feel they have successfully adapted to remote learning and in particular if there were any tools/resources/strategies that supported this transition.
