Two weeks ago we wrote about plans to organize a workshop on collective bargaining. The all-day workshop, led by Peter Simpson of the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT), will present information about the processes and strategies of collective bargaining and will include experiential role play activities. It is an interesting experience.
We have received sufficient interest from enough members and have scheduled a workshop for May 21, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in Room ER-4002. Those members who have expressed interest will receive an e-mail with the logistics.
If the expressions of interest are sufficient to warrant a second session, it will be held on May 22. If you are interested in participating, please let us know by contacting the MUNFA office (ext. 8642 or e-mail: munfa@mun.ca) no later than April 21, 2009. We will then be in contact with details about dates and times soon thereafter.
