Memorial University is seeking feedback on a draft policy regarding Research Impacting Indigenous Groups. The new policy has been drafted by a working group of three people recommended by the President’s Advisory Committee on Aboriginal Affairs: Dr. Max Liboiron (Michif), Associate Vice-President (Indigenous Research) in St. John’s; Kelly Anne Butler (Mi’kmaw), Student Affairs Officer-Aboriginal Affairs at Grenfell Campus; and Michele Wood (Inuk), community member in Labrador.
We encourage Academic Staff Members to participate in the consultation process. Feedback on the draft policy will be accepted until the end of the business day on Monday, March 16th and can be directed to Nic Kuzmochka (n.kuzmochka@mun.ca).
