RATIFICATION VOTE: A ratification vote under Article XIV of the MUNFA Constitution requires a secret, ballot-box vote. Voting will take place on MARCH 21, 2019 at the following locations and times:
- St. John’s Campus – 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Medical School
- Earth Sciences
- Q.E.II Library
- Grenfell Campus – 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Arts & Science
Where you vote is determined by your academic unit (see below). Lists of all eligible, bargaining unit members will be present at each ballot location. You may vote only once, and only at the constituency polling station to which you have been assigned.
ADVANCED POLL: Bargaining Unit Members who are unable to vote on March 21, 2019 may cast a ballot on MARCH 14, 2019 at the following locations and times:
- St. John’s Campus – 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM in ER 4047
- Grenfell Campus – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM in AS 105
IN ORDER TO VOTE YOU WILL NEED:
- Your Employee ID Number; or
- A photo ID
Counting of the ballots will take place in ER4048 after the ballots from Grenfell Campus are received.

Foyer of The Medical School – Academic Staff Members in Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing will vote in thefoyer of the Medical School (HSC, behind the cafeteria).
4thFloor Foyer of Earth Sciences Building – Academic Staff Members in Anthropology, Archaeology Earth Sciences, Engineering, Business, Social Work, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Ocean Sciences, Student Wellness & Counselling Centre, and Marine Institute will vote in the4thfloor foyer of the Earth Sciences Building.
Foyer of The Q.E. II Library – Academic Staff Members in Biochemistry, Biology, Classics, Economics, Education, English, Modern Languages, Literatures, & Cultures, Folklore, Geography, History, Human Kinetics & Recreation, Q.E. II Library, Linguistics, Mathematics and Statistics, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Gender Studies will vote in the foyer of the Q.E. II Library.
Arts & Science Atrium – Academic Staff Members at Grenfell Campus will vote in the atrium of the Arts & Science Building.
