As part of the most recently negotiated MUN/MUNFA Collective Agreement, the Parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a Special Committee to determine universal principles of course equivalencies and standard course equivalencies for all Academic Staff Members (ASMs) teaching at the University. (Note that since the original signing of the MOU, subsequent MOUs have been signed extending timelines for the Committee.)
As per the MOU, the Special Committee has submitted an Interim Report to the Parties for consideration. The MUNFA Executive is now asking ASMs from all units to send comments on the Interim Report to membership.munfa@mun.ca. We ask that you submit feedback by Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
Once feedback has been received, MUNFA will compile the responses, remove respondents’ names, and submit it to the Special Committee.
