HSS P&T Guidelines Strategy Session – May 1st, 2025

The MUNFA Executive is aware of a proposed set of guidelines and detailed criteria for Promotion and Tenure in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, to be discussed at an upcoming Faculty Council in May. Faculties and Schools may adopt more detailed criteria as per Clause 10.32 of the Collective Agreement, but the Association strongly encourages its membership to discuss any proposed, faculty-wide changes without the administration present to ensure that any changes reflect the will of the membership.

Tenured and tenure track ASMs in the Faculty of HSS are invited to attend a virtual strategy session on May 1st, 2025, at 10:00am, hosted by members of the St. John’s Academic Freedom and Grievance Committee.
