SUBJECT: Meeting with Administrative Heads and other Administrators
The MUNFA Executive reminds all Academic Staff Members (ASMs) of their right to have a MUNFA representative or support person attend one-on-one meetings held with their Administrative Head or other University Administrator.
Having a MUNFA representative or other support person attend the meeting should not be seen as adversarial, but instead as a right of the ASM covered under the Collective Agreement. Often times the additional person simply serves as a note taker and/or support for the ASM so they can focus on the discussions held during the meeting.
If an ASM requires any support from MUNFA for a meeting with any University administrator, or if an ASM has questions on this issue, please email munfa@mun.ca
